i read the villain series this summer & i took this pic this summer & i remember vividly that i had the perfect caption in my mind but i don‘t have any idea what this caption was. this is a reminder that i should write stuff down. if you want to read a slow-paced, spooky supervillains-book than you should grab ‚vicious‘ now! (and don‘t read it in german, v e schwabs writing style is so beautiful you can‘t quite translate it). i cried several times & was gripped almost all the time & the characters were just *chef kiss* (even though i wouldn’t mind a little more victor-backstory. for being so attached to a creep like eli, i think it's a problem that i didn't care a lot about him.) vengeful is more complex, darker & also with new interesting characters. i’m honestly not a big fan of the plot because i felt like the entire tension simply evaporated towards the end, which i noticed often in schwabs books. but literally everything about the series makes up for that. aaand there is ace rep. perfect for halloween!
