What a book!! Why on earth did I wait so long to read this? It was perfection!!! It was definitely a character driven story, with wonderful lovable characters that immediately found their way into my heart and that will certainly stay there for a little while. Lou is sarcastic and loud and Reid is a gentle giant that is easily embarrassed. While these two are complete opposites they are just perfect for each other! I loved their dynamics! And I also loved the other side characters. Coco, Ansel, Madame Labelle and even Jean Luc and the Archbishop. They were all so different and some of the characters even had hidden depth that only came to light as the story progressed. There were twists and turns and revelations that I definitely did NOT see coming and that surprised me. They left me shocked and staring open-mouthed at my book and I loved it! And that Cliffhanger at the end! It wasn't a cliffhanger that was abrupt and ended way too quickly. The important things were already solved in this book, but it still leaves the question of where the character are going next, what they will do and just what will HAPPEN! To say I need Blood and Honey immediately would be an understatement. 5 million stars!
