This was a book I had really high hopes for and while I did end up liking it a lot in the end, the first half was really slow. I expected more, maybe a faster start (which I didn't get), however, in the end this turned out as a great read! Now, it definitely was very interesting and my rating is certainly not low, but I thought it was going to be a 5 star read and, well, it wasn't. There was a lot of suspense and tension that was built which was done very well. I liked the feelings that built between the two main characters, even though I thought there would be more. The different perspectives of the sisters in the past and the present were great! I loved these short chapters that gave some background information! And I was an absolute fan of Hazel's story. I did not expect that twist coming and I thought it was great! Overall, I must say that I liked the book a lot more after that twist and the ending was incredibly sad, but I think perfect for the story!! Only, I didn't really care for Penny anymore...
