Another fabulous book by Colleen Hoover which I am very excited to meet TODAY!!! Colleen Hoover never ceases to amaze me with her writing. Her writing style is fantastic and fluent, her characters always very well developed to a point where they feel as real as if they were your best friends since years or you already knew them all your life. And her stories are on a different level altogether. They are not your usual cute romance stories - even though they have the sweetest elements to them - they are mostly bittersweet. They feel realistic, just as the characters, which makes you experience them on a much deeper level. CoHo’s stories are healing and heartbreaking at the same time. And she also doesn’t include everyday stories. Her stories and the topics she addresses are now easy. She addresses serious topics, taboo topics, topics you don’t really want to think about and probably don’t until you experience these things yourself. Her books address taboo relationships between teacher and student, include handicapped characters and talk about domestic violence. All your perfects is no exception, but I think going into her books blind is the best way to experience them. If you want to read All Your Perfects, prepare for heartbreak, prepare for conflicting feelings, prepare to cry (presumably in the middle of the night like I did :’D) prepare to be devastated and prepared to get healed. Prepare for ups and downs. And then simply try to let yourself get carried away. ❤️
