The book is about the boy Ben who spends his Fridays with his grandmother. He is bored to death because normally they play Scrabble and eat cabbage soup. But when he discovers diamonds in an old biscuit tin, everything changes. It turns out that his supposedly boring grandma is a jewel thief. When Ben proposes to steal the crown jewels from the tower his grandmother is in. It takes a lot of planning but in the end everything turns out differently than expected. -♡- I like the idea of a little boy and his grandmother making the most famous coup and stealing the crown jewels of the queen. Also the realization is successful. Whereby I found the beginning very long and one had to wait too long for the event, the actual robbery. This was humorously converted and less excitingly arranged. Also, the main focus was not the robbery but the friendship between Granny and Ben. -♡- With the two main characters Ben and Granny I only slowly got warm because it just doesn't fit my age group. -♡- Nevertheless, the book was very entertaining and has a nice moral towards the end. -♡- I can recommend it to anyone who wants to read a humorous book about a cute friendship between an old lady and her grandson. -♡- 3,5/5⭐
