When I bought this, I did not realize that this was actually a book for children/young teens! Once again, I was drawn to the book because of it's cover. I just love illustration art! Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story. Sweet Pea is a really cute character but the character I loved most was probably Miss Flora Mae! It‘s an easy read and a nice idea to get Sweet Pea involved in the column. I like how the book deals with divorces. Sweet Pea's parents made their houses look identical, but nevertheless, it's never the same in either of them. This shows that there is more to a home than just the look of it. There always needs to be the right person with you, too. However, I like stories with more happenings and some twists. Maybe it‘s because it‘s a book for younger people...? I‘d recommend this to children aged 8 to 12 probably? I remember it has a recommended age similar to that, so that might be a good fit! Julie Murphy is also the author of "Dumplin'", which was a great success. I definitely want to read this book, too, because her style of writing was really easy and uplifting!
