“Yeah, but broken isn't the same as unfixable.” I didn't want to finish it, but also wanted to finish it at the same time. Winter is one of the few last books in a series I don't hate. All open questions are solved, and you know what happens with every of the many characters. But here is my opinion on the whole series: I got them all at the same time from the library, because they were so pretty and shiny, I could not resist. I almost stopped at the first book, because Cinder is just not as good as the others. But if you are also struggling with #1, then please continue! It just gets better AND there are so many diverse characters! (like "Snow White" aka Winter is a person of colour) And now we are back to Winter/ Wie Schnee so weiß: I can't be only positive here, so a negative point: It's a tad long in some parts... Like 800 pages are good in a book, but there were parts I honestly thought I could skip because they were sooo boring. I wanted sh*t to go down and have some more action! But still a worthy finish.
