“We each play several roles in life – that doesn’t make them all lies.” I'm gonna make a bold move and declare this book as my February favorite. Done, it's out. I have said it and there is no taking it back anymore. I read many comments saying that this was "Mulan in white" and I can't agree to that! It reminded me a bit of The Red Queen series, actually, but I also can't say why. What I loved were all those parts about spying and politics and intrigues; they kept me hooked and made these 400+ pages feel like nothing. I was rushing to finish it. I think reading the book a second time will probably be better, because then you know the clues leading to the "reveal". And I have to say that the "reveal" left me really confused! ***SPOILER**** I thought Ash was Robert, and then he turned out to be Quinn? It took me some googleing around to realize Rob pretended to be Quinn/Alex. I honestly need to read this again and then figure out when "Quinn" is Rob and when it's Ash slash actually him. ***SPOILER OVER****
