I absolutely loved this book! My mum got the audio book last year and loved it but I didn't have that much interest in listening to it. But after having four people recommend this book to me I just had to get myself a copy of it and read it. The german version has a little more than 700 pages but it definitely didn't feel like that, I pretty much inhaled this book in two days. Loved that there's always something to it that made me shiver and whenever I heard a strange noise outside of my room I got so scared that something might be out there. When I went to walk my dog yesterday evening at 9.30 pm I just couldn't calm down and always felt like something's watching me and I just keep singing "naughty john, naughty john" and I CAN'T STOP IT ahh!! Somebody help! Definitely one of my favourite spooky reads now! This book left me on high and I just really need to finally get my hands on book two. And book three. Which sadly didn't get translated into German. Is there a fourth book? If yes, I need to get this one as well!
